Speakers
Colsan has a vast selection of receivers / speakers for hearing instruments ranging from different sizes to different impedance levels and SPL outputs. We can also accommodate a vast range of spouts and port locations, including the ability to attach a plastic spout for your custom applications.
Microphones
All microphones are based on an electret condenser principle which provides advanced performance in a miniature package. The microphone Integrated Circuit design uses the latest technology to provide the lowest noise and highest EMI protection. Microphones are categorized into single omni directional microphones and single directional microphones.
Telecoils
The active telecoil (product name begins with TA) has an extra amplifier to boost output, shape frequency response and provide extra EMI protection. The Telecoil TA 20 models offer this extra amplifier.
The passive telecoil (product name begins with T) does not have the extra amplifier. These telecoils are designed by manipulating the core and the wire windings to offer different sensitivity and size options.
Electro-Mechanical
We can provide a complete line of volume Controls, Switches, Trimmers and Programming Systems.
Cables & Sockets
Kevlar/Polyurethane Copper Litz Construction, Compatible with all In-ear monitor systems, Discrete & neat Cable dressing System Unterminated Y cables also available. Monitor sockets are available in two formats, typically 4-bar for bonding in place, available in Beige, Black and White and H-format for where they can be inserted into pre-formed keyway or panel, available in Beige, Black, Translucent and White. Electrically both sockets are identical.
